Welcome to the BYU Chinese Language Fair

The Department of Asian and Near Eastern Languages at Brigham Young University invites all Utah junior-high and high school students learning Chinese —grades 6-12— to attend the 2025 BYU Chinese Language Fair. At the fair, students can register for competitions and/or activities designed to help them learn and use Chinese.

Schedule

• Students arrive and check in: 9:00 – 9:15am (1102 JKB).
• Events are scheduled between 9:15 and 11:30am
• Lunch: 11:30 – 11:45am (TNRB Atriums)
• Closing assembly: 11:45am – 12:00pm (251 TNRB)

Jesse Knight Building (JKB)
Drop-off and pick-up at Lot 2A in front of BYU Museum of Art (MOA); School buses can park at the lot next to BYU Stadium. More details in “Parking and Maps” tab.
